About
Shehar Ki Baat, Nukkad Se.
Nukkad Talks is a street-level city publication, starting in Lucknow. The name says it plainly: the best conversations about a city don’t happen in a newsroom — they happen at the nukkad, the street corner, over chai, between neighbours, outside a shop that’s been there for thirty years.
We cover food and places, the people who make this city what it is, the news that actually affects daily life, and the small, useful explainers that untangle the confusing stuff. No jargon, no filler, no pretending to be more formal than the city itself is.
Nukkad Talks is a Nexaflow Media venture. We’re independent, we’re local first, and we’re building this in the open — more cities, more voices, same street-level instinct.
Editorial Philosophy
- — Report from the street, not from a press release.
- — Short, honest writing over padded, formal journalism.
- — Sponsored content is always disclosed, clearly, every time.
- — If it wouldn’t come up at the nukkad, it probably doesn’t belong here.
